After some support from the lido guide, we have decided to rescind the guidance published about wetsuits being compulsory.
Instead, you are welcome to make your own call though the staff will be being extra vigilant about getting people out if they are showing signs of being too cold. ...
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the first cold water lane swimming tomorrow evening, 6:30pm till 7:30pm!
In line with ASA guidance when the water is 20 degrees or more no wetsuit will be required.
Water temperatures between 18 and 19.9 degrees swimmers can choose whether they wish to wear a wetsuit or not.
Water temperature between 16 and 17.9 degrees wetsuits will be compulsory.
Once the water temperature falls below 15.9 degrees we will no longer be opening for swimming. ...

Outdoor pools always get filled with small stones, sand, leaves and other small bits of debris.
Our pool cleaner, Pablo, sucks up these bits to keep the pool nice and clean. As part of our cleaning schedule the pool cleaner goes into the pool at the end of every day, keeping the water crystal clear!
